The Lake District

From London we headed north towards Scotland for the ferry back to Ireland.  It's a long boring drive, so we stopped overnight in the Lake District by a lake called Ullswater.

We didn't have much time to go out for many walks, but it was still very pretty, even if the rain soon arrived.

And we met lots of little lambs:

The next morning the sun was out again, but we soon had to leave for Scotland.  More of that soon...

Hampton Court

The other day me and my humans went to London to see their daughter.  One afternoon we went to Hampton Court Palace, which is some big house where a king used to live.

It's right next to the river Thames and as it was a hot day I went for a swim fetching sticks out of the water and chasing ducks.  It was great fun!

I like to be beside the seaside...

The next place on our journey back was Norfolk, where we stopped with some friends.  One day while we were there we took a walk by the seaside in Hunstanton.  It was a windy day and there were many buggy surfers.  I especially liked playing with the twins Yana and Peter!

I even met one of my ancestors, a wolf!

Yorkshire - but no terrier in sight

We are on our way back from Ireland to Italy and on the way we stopped with some friends in Grassington, Yorkshire.  We went on a lovely long walk around the Yorkshire Dales, but we didn't see a single Yorkshire terrier all day.  We did see a lot of sheep though...

Meeting a Sheep

I don't know where I am half of the time, but a few days ago I was in a place called Matlock in Derbyshire, England only for one night unfortunately, because I liked going for walks down by the river and say hello to the sheep.  It was a bit cold though...
