At the Races

 Last summer we went to the Netherlands to visit some family and my friend Zandor.  We walked along the canals a lot and I even went swimming sometimes.  One day we went to a Scottish festival where there was a man in a skirt squeezing a cat until it squealed (at least I think it was a cat).  There was also a Jack Russell race and I was allowed to have a go too.  I was the fastest of them all!  It was great fun!

Of Giants and Monsters

Today was a lovely sunny and crisp autumn day, so my humans took me on a trip to Belfast.  I don't normally like cities, but we went on a walk just outside the city around the Giant's Ring.  Apparently it's a very old place, where neolithic dogs dug out a giant bone... at least I think so.

There were some monsters there too.  As you can see, me and my human dared riding one.

Between a Rock and a Rocky Place

This year we spent a lot of time in Bulgaria.  Here we visited a place called Belogradchik.  There were lots of rocks to clamber around on.  On the first picture I am with my friend Vasko.

 

Running Away in Le Marche

Last spring we went to an area called Le Marche in eastern Italy visiting some friends.  It was way up in the mountains...

 ...with lots of animals around so I decided to go exploring and chasing deer.  My human was not very pleased with me when I returned 17 hours later and boy was I exhausted!  I slept the whole next day!

Once I recovered I went to meet the other humans and animals

  One day we went to a city called Urbino and saw our friend Alessia

At Granny and Grandad's

I've been to my human's Mum and Dad in Germany two or three times this year.  They live in the countryside in a place called Unterjettingen.  I like it there, because they always give me nice treats, although no matter how much I asked they wouldn't give me the cheese.  They also have comfy sofas to lounge on and bid fields to roam around on.

 

Happy Birthday to my Human

Happy birthday to my human.  This picture was taken a couple of years ago in the caravan on our land in Italy celebrating another friend's birthday.  I like it on our land, because I can romp around freely up and down the terraces and bark at the neighbour's dogs.

In the Mountains of Piemonte

If you were wondering where the background photo to my blog was taken, it was at the beginning of our travels last winter, when we went to visit my friends Patata (you can see her next to me on the veranda) and Emilia (the photo below) in a place called Barge in Piemonte in Northern Italy.  There was lots of snow and some very high mountains like the Monviso on the picture.  My human says it reminds him of some movie intro of Paramount Pictures.

 

Meeting a Sheep

I don't know where I am half of the time, but a few days ago I was in a place called Matlock in Derbyshire, England only for one night unfortunately, because I liked going for walks down by the river and say hello to the sheep.  It was a bit cold though...
